Warehouse Manager

Lead the Way in Warehouse Management at GVH Diversified, LLC!

GVH Diversified is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This position reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for leading the warehouse team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until completion of daily tasks.

• Start and end times may vary based on customer and operational needs.
• Availability for after-hours call-ins required

Competitive Compensation: Base salary ranging from $60,000.00-$80,000.00 annually based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the General Manager on operational schedules to meet budget and customer needs.
• Identify and implement operational improvements under the General Manager’s direction.
• Oversee all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and efficient processing of goods.
• Ensure proper documentation and labeling of all received products.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Audit picking and packing processes to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Minimize backorders and inventory discrepancies through proactive management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Enforce company policies and uphold the GVH Way principles.
• Manage warehouse employees, ensuring punctuality and job performance.
• Participate in hiring decisions alongside the General Manager.
• Enforce disciplinary actions when necessary, in consultation with HR and management.
• Ensure all safety checklists and regulatory requirements are met.
• Maintain up-to-date safety training for all warehouse employees.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years in a high-volume warehouse with a proven track record of success as a manager or supervisor.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English regarding job functions and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Knowledge of warehouse management software is a plus.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, push/pull, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in both active and sedentary conditions.
