We are looking to hire an Account Manager to increase sales and provide service to our customers in Oregon and Southeastern Washington.
This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $80,000 per year plus bonus potential!
Responsibilities of the Account Manager include but are not limited to:
- Grow an existing book of business and sell our program to new accounts.
- Provide solutions for grocery stores, food processors and convenience stores on their packaging and supplies needs.
- Work with a collaborative team to reach sales goals and stay abreast of industry changes and product introductions.
- Remain visible in the assigned account list while visiting customers a minimum of 4 days per week and provide a positive and professional image for the company.
- Maintain an accurate customer account list, remain in constant contact with established customers
- Provide assistance in the formulation and implementation of marketing and sales strategies.
- Help to develop new sales strategies and promote the sales of GVH Distribution.
Position Requirements:
- College degree in business or sales
- 3-5 years of grocery packaging sales experience
- The ability to understand the needs of business accounts through conversational interaction and converting those needs into sales.
- Prior experience and knowledge with UNFI is preferred.
