GVH Distribution looking to add an experienced Special Projects Assistant to our team!

The Special Projects Assistant will be an integral part of our GVH Distribution team.

The Special Projects Assistant will be responsible for:

• Responsible for all special projects assigned by Special Projects Manager
• Provides ongoing support to applicable staff (VP of Sales & Marketing, Senior Management, and Pricing Coordinator)
• Responsible to work on new customer price files
• Working with vendors and GVH Team Members to process direct purchase orders
• Responsible helping to establish strong relationships and working with new and existing customers and vendors
• Help with sourcing requests from GVH Branches, VP of Sales & Marketing and Senior Management
• Will assist in the brainstorming, design, and execution, and training of branch and maintenance for customer order guides

Requirement:

• High school diploma and some college required
• Two years or more administrative experience in the Grocery or Jan/San industry.
• Skill and knowledge to identify and prioritize financial, situational, and relational problems with vendors and customers and the ability to solve the problems
• The financial knowledge to understand pricing strategy formulation and rebates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SPECIFICALLY MICROSOFT EXCEL (MUST BE EFFICIENT WITH V-LOOKUPS AND PIVOT TABLES)
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.23 - $24.04 per hour
