GVI, Inc. seeks a Configuration Analyst to provide logistics and technical support on behalf of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport, supporting HM&E and PARM Systems as it relates to In Service and New Construction Submarines.
Responsibilities:
Data Management
· Conduct assessments related to system components and support material readiness.
· Conduct research associated with technical refresh objectives and obsolescence issue resolution.
· Conduct parts research to support mitigating system level, component, and support material deficiencies.
· Maintain data repositories so all related engineering, supply support, and technical data is readily available for open and closed issues.
· Evaluate configuration changes utilizing Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) for impacts to system readiness and supply support impacts.
· Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical data packages to assist in part identification and manufacture ownership.
· Knowledge of the various logistical web-based services for conducting in-depth research and analysis in support of resolving obsolescence and material support readiness concerns.
Requirements:
· Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
· 1 year Data Management experience preferred.
