Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant or catering services.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties.
• Organize and restock clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food service and sanitation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen setting.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $14.31 - $14.97 per hour
