This position is responsible for maintaining the college's equipment inventory and serves as a liaison to the State Property Office and to the college's employees. It is responsible for the receipt, classification, identification, delivery, relocation and final disposition of college property. This position assists with the completion of daily mail services, shipping and receiving, and campus moves across multiple campuses. Assists in coordinating departmental staff and other resources in achieving department, division and college missions and goals.
•Coordinates the college's equipment inventory and inventory database records. Prepares associated reports and correspondence as required. Coordinates and represents the college during inventories and audits.
•Coordinate meetings and training sessions associated with asset management and proper supply and inventory procedures.
•Investigates property losses and other inventory discrepancies, reports results and recommendations to appropriate authorities.
•Collects and distributes surplus equipment and furniture. Assist with the disposal of surplus property and ensuring the colleges compliance with State Surplus Property division.
•Coordinates and implements campus moves. Monitors status of moves and serves as liaison between Logistics Management and college personnel and departmental move coordinators. Ensures that moves are completed as planned and that inventory records are kept up to date. Assist the event planning coordinators with deliveries and setup for functions. (tables/chairs)
•Assist the warehouse functions to include receiving, storage and processing areas. Receives freight shipments; sort and delivers mail and freight as needed.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
