What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Carpenter/Trim carpenter/Carpenter helper position at GVR Finish Carpentry?
Responsibilities:
General Carpentry Work: Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
Finish Carpentry: Execute tasks such as installing Doors,cabinets, and trim work including baseboards, crown molding, casing and any custom work.
Quality Control: Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure perfection.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1-5 years preferred of experience as a general carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
Skills: Proficient in using carpentry tools and machinery. Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve construction issues effectively.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for
extended periods.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively win ream members.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of finished carpentry, installation techniques, and general construction practices. They must be extremely detail oriented and organized with a proven history of finished carpentry/installation with quality and customer service as the priority.
