Janitorial Worker

Job Summary
The Facilities Cleaner sweeps the floor and runs the floor scrubber cleaning the warehouse floor.

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, desks, and equipment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.
