Overview
Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to Manufacturing Engineering. Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, diagnose, perform preventative maintenance and repair all plant manufacturing equipment including related pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and chemical systems.
- Troubleshoot custom manufacturing & test equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers in the specification and development of new manufacturing equipment.
- Interface w/ PLC’s (specifically Allen Bradley), w/Camera’s (Cognex & Keyence), w/HMI’s (Allen Bradley & Parker), and w/Robot’s (Epson & Fanuc) to troubleshoot machine issues or modify programs.
- Use of hand tools, power tools and machining equipment to modify, construct or repair components for equipment.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Qualifications
- Experience working from complex drawings and data, manuals, handbooks.
- Experience using a wide variety of measuring instruments and electronic analyzing and testing equipment. Thorough knowledge of electronic components, digital and analog circuitry, hydraulic systems and machine tool principles essential.
- 1-2 years technical college training (or equivalent).
Compensation: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience
