Position : Grounds Maintenance / Porter
In addition to hourly pay, Grounds Maintenance is eligible for monthly commissions!
Requirements :
- Knowledge of common hand tools ( screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc.).
- Must work inside and outside in all types of weather.
- Medium to heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
- Familiar with landscaping and use of landscaping, such as lawnmower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer, etc.
- Other power tools including, but not limited to, power floor cleaner, carpet shampoo machine, power drain cleaner, chain saw and key machine.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
- May be required to be certified to use pool chemicals depending on the location.
- Background screening required.

Duties :
- Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position that performs light maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
- Assists with repairs and improvements of vacant apartments for a market-ready status.
- Works as a team participant along with the maintenance staff to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the Company.
- The ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail is required.
Qualifications :
- Works as a team participant along with the maintenance staff to ensure quality maintenance standards set by the Company are met and exceeded.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
