Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager will provide leadership and direction to the shipping department to ensure product ships appropriately and accurately. Serves the liaison between Customer Service, Production Control, Quality, Purchasing and Manufacturing in regard to shipping and tracking of products.
Set day-to-day operational objectives to teams of workers/para-professionals/support staff. Supports more senior managers to execute team targets. Solve non-complex problems. Provides input on individual performance, and owns the full employee life-cycle for workers/para-professionals/support staff, including hire/fire, performance management, etc.

- Leading employees. Manages a team, adapts plans and priorities to meet operational challenges. Coaches employees to meet daily deadlines.
- Supervise, train, and direct shipping personnel.
- Determine and assign work priorities in shipping and expedite workflow.
- Verify the accuracy of all shipping functions such as labeling and all packaging information.
- Manage inventory counts.
- Follow up on the shipping schedules daily & weekly
- Manage the housekeeping duties of the shipping area.
- Ability to drive a forklift is a plus.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 3-5 years in a similar role/experience preferred.
- Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline.
- Applies understanding of team works to achieve the set targets.
- Communication and information exchange is usually centered around work tasks
- Evaluate and give suggestion to improve methods, tools and processes. Contribute to sharing of best practice within own area.
- Usually accountable for environment, health and safety as per local legislation, policies etc.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Lightwork that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at a time.
