The Machine Maintenance Manager will lead our team of skilled technicians in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing the performance of our CNC machinery and other equipment, ensuring continuous production and minimal downtime. This role also involves strategic planning for maintenance projects and leading efforts to improve maintenance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance department, including hiring, training, and managing maintenance staff.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex mechanical and electrical problems on CNC machines.
- Manage budgets and procurement for maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce a culture of safety within the team.
- Assess and report on departmental performance metrics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in preventative maintenance programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education is a plus.
