The Manufacturing Manager provides leadership, direction, and coordination of manufacturing and production control across the plant; with safety and quality at the forefront of all activities.
Responsibilities
- Leads and enables an employee engaged safety culture.
- Provide a systems-based approach to product quality focused on prevention of defects, leading to a reduction in COPQ and scrap.
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
- Establish performance metrics and KPI’s that provide forward looking measurement, comparison, and/or evaluation of factors for improving and sustaining operational performance.
- Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance.
- Develop staffing models and analyze workforce requirements to ensure alignment to the sales forecast.
- Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
- Lead, coach, and train employees toward team concepts and foster an environment of engagement and high performance.
- Establish goals for production leadership team and monitor their progress towards those goals
- Focus on continuous improvement utilizing a Lean and Six Sigma strategy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
- Five years of experience in a manufacturing/operations management, or similar relevant position required
