GXM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Policy Analyst IV to join our team . Our team is looking to welcome an experienced technical professional to work in support of GXM projects for government clients in the Fort Meade, MD area and in support of company-level efforts across project teams.
The Policy Analyst IV leads the development and implementation of AI policies and doctrine for the Intelligence Community (IC). They conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging AI technologies, including, Generative AI, Quantum AI, and Explainable AI, and their policy implications - all while advising and collaborating with government leads and AI Task Forces to align AI policies across for client organizations. The Policy Analyst IV will develop and maintain flexible policy frameworks that adapt to the changing AI landscape and adjust for changes in Federal legislative or executive policy or regulation. They will provide expert advice and guidance on AI policy matters to various stakeholders. They monitor and analyze Federal legislation, executive orders, and regulations related to AI, understanding the impact any state-level legislation may have on clients. The Policy Analyst IV will develop white papers, reports, and presentations on AI policy issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the research, analysis, and development of AI policies and doctrines for the IC.
- Analyze emerging AI technologies (Generative AI, Quantum AI, Explainable AI) and their implications for policy and regulation.
- Collaborate with government leads and AI task forces to align AI policies across client organizations.
- Develop and maintain adaptable policy frameworks that account for evolving Federal legislative and executive policy changes.
- Monitor and analyze Federal and state legislation, executive orders, and regulations related to AI, and evaluate their impact on client organizations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on AI policy matters to stakeholders within the IC.
- Prepare and present detailed white papers, reports, and presentations on AI policy issues to government officials and organizational leaders.
- Must be US Citizen
- TS/SCI required; CI Poly desired
- Education: BA/BS.
- Experience: At least 12 years of experience in Policy Analysis roles
- Strong knowledge of emerging AI technologies and their implications for public policy and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze Federal and state legislation and draft policy recommendations.
- Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex policy issues to diverse audiences.
- Proven experience collaborating with government agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Federal legislative and regulatory processes.
- Experience advising senior government leaders or working within the IC.
- Strong understanding of ethical considerations and challenges in AI policy, including bias, privacy, and transparency.
