Reporting to the CPO and CTO, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a range of projects within the life sciences sector, from developing intuitive user interfaces to crafting compelling user experiences. As a UI / UX Designer at GxSpeed, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that meet both business and user needs, ensuring a seamless and effective digital experience.Key Responsibilities : Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces for digital tools, platforms, and applications in the life sciences space.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that demonstrate your design process and deliver compelling experiences.Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI kits to ensure consistency across projects.Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and business teams to understand user needs, goals, and challenges.Conduct usability testing, user interviews, and other research to gather feedback and iterate on designs.Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure the successful implementation of your designs.Translate complex data or technical content into simple, user-friendly experiences.Manage design deliverables within project timelines, working within an agile or iterative development process.Provide design support throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final release and iteration.Stay current with design trends, new technologies, and industry best practices, particularly in life sciences and healthcare.Bring innovative ideas to the table and challenge the status quo to elevate the user experience in a regulated environment.Qualifications & Skills : 3-5 years of experience in UI / UX design, preferably in a consulting or healthcare-related field (life sciences, biotech, pharma, etc. is a plus).Strong portfolio showcasing both UI and UX skills, with a clear focus on solving real-world user problems.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.Knowledge of design systems, user-centered design processes, and agile methodologies.Ability to create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UI specifications.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development (or a willingness to collaborate closely with developers on front-end design implementation).Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Attention to detail with a keen eye for design aesthetics and usability.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience designing for regulated industries or knowledge of life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare product design is a plus, as well as experience with data visualization, information architecture, or interaction design.What We Offer : An innovative and quickly-growing company with significant opportunities for professional growth.Access to cutting-edge tools, technologies, and resources to support your professional development.The opportunity to work on impactful products and services that improve healthcare outcomes and accelerate Life Sciences innovations.Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based incentives and the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time role after the contract period.Enjoy the benefits of a flexible work environment, with remote work options and the ability to manage your work schedule.At GxSpeed, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team of professionals on cutting-edge projects in the Life Sciences space.
