As a GYMGUYZ General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring clients receive the highest quality of service while driving sales and overseeing fitness operations. You will be responsible for achieving the financial targets outlined in each quarterly business plan by motivating, leading, supervising, and coordinating the activities of team members focused on serving client needs. You will also demonstrate a strong understanding of company-wide policies and initiatives to maintain the integrity of the GYMGUYZ brand. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Trainer Support & Development
- Work closely with the Master Trainer to oversee the training and development of new trainers, ensuring proper procedures are followed (e.g., assessments, training the GYMGUYZ way, attire, booties, GG App). Additionally, assist in reviewing trainers’ programs, quality control of client programs, equipment usage, client relationships, and reassessments to maintain high standards.
- Conduct trainer performance reviews quarterly
Sales/Marketing
- Conducting assessments and closing sales
- Participating in marketing/networking events to grow B2B and B2C sales base
- Conduct reach outs with support of our VA of new prospects
- Perform follow ups with leads and prospects with assistance of VA
- Attend and help drive/coordinate community special events
- Field marketing events (networking events, meetings in luxury residential communities, other businesses etc)
Administrative
- Collaborate with the VA and Master Trainer to coordinate the training schedules, van logistics, equipment check-in/check-out, manage CRM systems, and oversee Mindbody usage, ensuring proper procedures are followed and tasks are delegated effectively.
Client Management
- Collaborate with the Master Trainer to oversee client check-ins, coordinate new client welcome gift bags, ensure client satisfaction throughout their packages, address customer service challenges, and manage renewals, while delegating tasks to focus on driving sales.
Personal Training
- Conduct personal training and group class sessions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
- Nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., ISSA, NASM, ACE, ACSM)
- CPR/AED certification.
- Previous sales experience in the fitness industry.
- 3-5 years of management experience in the fitness industry, including managing a team of 15 or more trainers.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for health and fitness.
- Travel required within the assigned territory for assessments, events, and other related responsibilities.
- A proven track record of increasing revenue month-over-month.
