Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Gymnastics Coach to work with our Compulsory, Xcel, or Pre-Team athletes. You will be responsible for developing skills and confidence in gymnasts while creating a positive, motivating, and structured training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach gymnasts in Compulsory, Xcel, and Pre-Team levels, focusing on skill development, strength, flexibility, and technique.
- Plan and execute lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each team and individual gymnast.
- Develop and refine routines for competitions, ensuring proper progression and readiness.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to athletes during practices and competitions.
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for gymnastics.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches regarding progress, goals, and expectations.
- Ensure safety standards are met at all times in the gym.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous coaching experience with competitive gymnastics teams, particularly in the USAG Compulsory and Xcel levels.
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics skills, progressions, and spotting techniques.
- Passion for working with athletes and helping them grow both in and out of the gym.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive and encouraging training environment.
- Availability for weekday evening practices and weekend competitions as needed.
