Job Description:
Gymreapers is seeking an experienced, strategic-minded, and tactical Director of Lifecycle Marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing email and SMS marketing strategies to drive consumer engagement, retention, and revenue growth for our eCommerce platform across all consumer segments. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully managing email and SMS marketing campaigns, a deep understanding of customer behavior, a passion for delivering results, and a desire to roll their sleeves up on the tactics. Responsibilities may include development of teams, long range planning for eCommerce, setting financial and performance goals for channel managers, presentations to Executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives utilizing data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and execute retention & email marketing calendar.
- Manage email and sms workflow - deadlines, series outlines, QA, and targeting setup.
- Tactical implementation of emails, triggers, flows, manual campaigns, and A/B testing.
- Lead long range strategy and set engagement and financial goals for all email and retention marketing channels.
- Execute retention marketing initiatives across various platforms to drive growth, engagement, and reactivation - email, SMS, referrals, and loyalty.
- Develop customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and targeted communication as well as work closely with data analytics teams to leverage customer data for effective segmentation and targeting.
- Build automation and triggered workflows that will help with engagement, acquisition, and retention.
- Partner with Creative Team to design and refine email and SMS communication templates based on performance KPI(s).
- Enhance storytelling elements in marketing messaging strategy to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience and effectively communicate our brand story.
- Ensure timely communication with key stakeholders on email and SMS program execution timelines and expectations.
- Analyze campaign results and share monthly performance reports, understanding approaches that worked well and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- 5 years email/SMS marketing experience, including campaign and automation management
- Proficiency in email & SMS marketing platforms, preferably Klaviyo and PostScript
- Must have previous Direct-to-Consumer experience
- Track record of managing and running email program above $25M
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques
- Excellent email copywriting and content ideation skills
- Must be highly detail-oriented and possess the ability to execute with minimal direction
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects concurrently
- Interest in health and wellness, fitness, and/or eCommerce industries
