Registered Nurse (RN) for Outpatient Surgical Center

Gynemed Surgical center (GSC) has been providing family planning and abortion services since 1985.

The center is looking for a candidate who can support the culture, mission, and vision of the center. The successful candidate will have the following characteristics: dynamic, positive, outgoing, supportive, flexible, and able to work with physicians,

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Preparing OR for surgery.
• Patient assessments.
• Assisting physicians during procedures.
• Injecting medication according to the physician's order.
• Monitoring patients in PACU during recovery.
• Assist with the daily operation of the facility.
• Taking and recording patients information.
• Venopuncture/ IV insertion.
• Maintaining crash cart medication update.
• Reporting the pertinent activities concerning the facility to the CEO and office manager at regular intervals.
• Planning and expanding growth of the services provided by the facility and the operation of the facility.
• Participate in discussion/presentation during Monthly Operations Review.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid, unencumbered MD Registered nurse license.
• 1 year of prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
• BLS/ACLS certifications
• Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Fridays, and at least 2 Saturdays each month.
• No Sundays or Mondays.
• The office is open 8:30-4:30 during the week and 7:30-2:30 on Saturdays.
