## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry and possess excellent customer service skills.
Job Description: Gypsum’s bar staff will create a fun and elevated beverage experience for our guests. Bartenders must know all aspects of the bar program, this includes cocktail builds, beers, and wine. Bartenders must maintain a high sense of urgency and be ready to take care of guests on the fly. Bartenders must all have a strong knowledge of the food menu and ready to describe and sell all dishes.
Job Requirements and duties:
· Positive and enthusiastic attitude
· Must have the highest-level multitasking skills in the restaurant
· Arrive in a polished uniform daily
· General cash handling and counting skills
· Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
· Must be willing to assist in running food and drinks
· Must know all aspects of the food and drink menus such as ingredients, allergens, and preparations
· Must be willing to learn new food and drink items for each shift
· Have a strong knowledge of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic options we offer
· Have a willingness to create new cocktail concepts for our features and seasonal menu
· Must be efficient at taking orders and timing courses efficiently
· Build regulars, and get to know our VIP guests
· Maintain the appearance of bar and lounge areas to ensure our guest have a positive experience
· Communicate with management when items are low or 86’d
· Stock the bar efficiently with any needed product
· Oversee the organization of weekly beer, wine, and liquor deliveries
· Attend daily pre shift meeting
· Washing glassware and stocking glassware
· Completing the opening and closing checklists for the Bartender position
· Available Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holiday
· Willing to apply our company core beliefs to each shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
