What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant position at Gypsum Grill and Events Center?
Job Description: Server assistants (SAs) will assist servers and bartenders during their shift to provide an elevated experience for our guests. The SA position is responsible for running drinks & food, bussing and setting tables, and providing any necessary help to the service staff to maintain efficiency during their shift. This position is a steppingstone for those who look to become servers and bartenders.
Job Requirements and duties:
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Arrive in a polished uniform daily
- Must be able to carry a loaded tray of food and drinks through the restaurant
- Must be willing to learn the food and drink menu and be ready to answer questions about the items on them
- Maintain the appearance of the dining room to ensure our guest have a positive experience
- Strong communication skills
- Maintain the draft beer cooler and learn how to stock beer and change kegs
- Assisting with washing and stocking glassware behind the bar
- Assist in organization of weekly deliveries of beer, wine, and liquor
- Assisting with trash removal * Filling ice for the bar and service staff
- Attend daily pre shift meeting
- Completing the opening and closing checklists for the SA position
- Available Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
- Willing to apply our company core beliefs to each shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
