Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your welcoming demeanor and attention to detail will ensure that every guest feels valued and well taken care of from the moment they arrive.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Opentable system.
- Provide menus and inform guests of specials or promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including waiting areas.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the menu, restaurant policies, and services.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Opentable, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
