GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is looking for a motivated Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Bedford, NH. As an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer, you will work on a wide variety of exciting projects amongst a team of dedicated project managers and principals. GZA provides five core services; geotechnical, environmental, ecological, construction management, and water resources, which provides great opportunity to cross train between groups. Key Duties:
- Perform field tasks and assist with the technical execution of projects.
- Perform oversight of drilling and other subsurface explorations.
- Conduct construction oversight of various projects.
- Collect samples, prepare field reports, exploration logs, and figures.
- Assist with geotechnical analysis and reports.
- Perform additional task across all GZA disciplines including environmental, construction services, ecology, and water resources.
- GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your geotechnical work including environmental, construction management, and ecological services.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
- Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude.
- Ability to perform field tasks and activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to/from project sites.
