GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is looking for a motivated Health Scientist Intern to join our technical practice in our Brookfield, Wisconsin office location. As an Entry-Level Health Scientist Intern, you will work on a wide variety of exciting projects amongst a team of dedicated project managers and principals. Our close-knit culture here at GZA will allow you to apply your expertise and diversify your skill set by participating in challenging projects. You will be mentored by professionals, who will in turn look to you to share technical knowledge and ideas. Our success relies on this collaborative environment.
Key Duties:
- Assist with research tasks associated with the production of technical work products, presentations, and proposals.
- Critically evaluate and summarize scientific literature on environmental and occupational health topics.
- Assist with quantitative exposure and risk assessments.
- The position may also include assisting and performing Industrial Hygiene sampling.
- Perform additional job-related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in epidemiology, industrial hygiene, toxicology, occupational and environmental health, public health, or related disciplines.
- 1 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Technical writing experience.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
