Construction in Lincoln, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7am to 5pm with some overtime and weekends. This is a Government Job, must pass background check. Candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Job Duties
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
- A Heavy Equipment Operator performs a variety of skilled duties associated with the operation of multiple types of heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- This includes operating all equipment in compliance with the company’s safety policies and procedures.
- Our Heavy Equipment Operators also ensure that company equipment, materials and the work site are maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner.

Environmental Working Conditions
- All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
- Exposure to all elements of nature
- Exposure to all types of terrain
- Exposure to loud noise
- Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
- Work in close proximity to heavy traffic
Physical Requirements
- Standing
- Walking
- Climbing, stooping and bending
- Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
- Duties may require working from heights
