Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management and control, ensuring accurate tracking of materials.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for the safe movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Handle materials according to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment such as cranes and other machinery to ensure proper functionality.
• Support the loading and unloading of shipments, maintaining an organized workspace.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in materials handling or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems such as AS400 is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
