Seeking Route Delivery Driver for H.C. Thibodeau Northeast Distribution representing: Distributors of Ben & Jerry’s, Breyer’s ,Good Humor, Klondike, Talenti, Magnum, and Popsicle Brands. Distributor for Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Northern New York.

Our location in: Enfield, New Hampshire terminal has an immediate opening for a Route Delivery Driver.

Reports to: Distribution Manager

Department: Delivery

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Performs work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, and delivery of products and materials. Loads, unloads, moves, and stores items according to delivery routing documents, customer orders or supervisor instructions. Operates a hand truck.

Principal Responsibilities:

- Making sure product description and count match invoice

- Packing all items away in customer freezer according to plan-o gram

- Driving from store to store until assigned route is complete

- Cash out route and prepare daily route deposit

- Maintain and complete all required DOT Logs, inspections and records

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience:

5 days on truck training including product knowledge & Customer Service

Valid license and DOT card Three (3) year driving record provided every year

Convenience store; Drug Store Chains; delivery experience

This is full-time, year round position delivering Monday through Friday.

Box Trucks are similar to ton pick ups; Air conditioned, Radio, Power Windows.

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of packaged ice cream products to our customers using Direct Store Delivery (DSD) handheld device delivering ice cream orders generated from our computer system.

Route (can) require one overnight per week with hotel and food expenses paid by the company. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Potential for advancement.

Drivers must provide a clean 3 year driving record and D.O.T. Certification card to begin employment. Must be 21 years of age.

Must be able to work alone starting at 5:00 a.m. You must enjoy interaction with Customers.

Driver's Earn:

$1,000 Sign On Bonus: Paid After Six Months of Employment; Paid Out Weekly, Over 5 Weeks; $200 per week

0-6 Months $54,000, Starting Pay.

6-18 Months $56,000 with potential earnings $58,000 with bonuses

18-4 Years $57,500 with potential earnings $61,000 with bonuses

4 Years and over $60,000 with potential earnings $65,000 with bonuses

6 Paid Holidays, 15 PTO Days per year, Health Insurance and 401K

Bonus: Summer for 7 months full 5 day work week; Fall Winter for 5 months 4 day work week same pay.
