Seeking Traveling Customer Service Representative for H.C. Thibodeau Northeast Distribution representing: Ben & Jerry's, Breyer's, Good Humor, Klondike, Talenti, Magnum, and Popsicle Brands in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Northern New York.
Covering areas: Burlington, Rutland, White River Junction, Vermont Territory
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
You will visit customers place of business on daily assigned route. Write customer's ice cream orders (obtain approval if necessary). Upload order for processing through Handheld device provided by the Company. Inform customer, in person, of any price changes, product shortages or new products being released.
Organize customer’s freezer according to planogram, add or change any point of sale materials needed. Complete 15 Defrosts of freezer(s) at customer site required per week. Assist customer with any returns needed; including writing up credit slip, getting credit for product approved and providing to dispatch for scheduling.
You will work closely with our CSR Director and Key Account Representatives as needed. You may receive customer complaints for resolution and report those issues to assigned Management.
You will confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or office personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed orders.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service B2B and prior sales experience preferred
- Overnight routes- hotel/motel of our choice and $20.00 for your meals
As a Traveling Customer Service Representative You will be writing replenishment orders at the physical location of our customer store(s) using a hand held device, cleaning and defrosting our on site freezers and merchandising in store displays.
You must love interaction with people. Must have reliable transportation; you must provide proof of auto insurance carrying and maintaining a minimum 300,000/100,000 liability and "used for business" Monday through Friday insurance rating; must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You may have one overnight per week w/ meal and hotel expenses paid.
This is a year-round position working Monday - Friday. No weekends required. Includes a car allowance of $28.00 per day and fuel reimbursement up to $130.00 per week.
