Full-Time Optometrist Opportunity
Compensation Highlights:
- · Work week Monday through Thursday. 8:00-5:00 with 1 hour lunch.
· No afterhours, on call, and NO WEEKENDS.
· 14-16 refractive (full exam) patient
· 2-4 Limited patients (shorts: IOP check, OCT, Rx or CL checks)
· 2 Emergency exams.1 in AM and 1in PM. (Only scheduled day of exam. FB removals, red eyes, flashes and floaters, extra)
· If more Limited exams, then less refractive exam and vis versa. Our goal is less than 22 patient encounters per day. More and we have concerns about quality of patient care
· Staff includes 2 technicians, 1 optician, and 1 front desk. All are cross trained and can do a little of everything.
· Exam Lane Equipment. Reichert FX90 chair and 7900IC stands, Topcon SL-D4 LED, Reichert Phoropters, Reichert ClearChart 4 Digital acuity screens (3 lanes left-handed, 1 lane right handed) Heine Hand Held, Heine Omega-600 BIO. Volk 20, 90, and G4 gonio mirror.
· Optos California, Heibelberg Spectralis OCT, Zeiss Humphrey Fields (740i), Marco AFC-330 Fundus camera, Marco 6200 refracting lane with 7M lensometer, Essilor SL650 with Dry Eye Module
Practice Highlights:
- Established in the 1950s and currently under the third generation of ownership
- $6.5 million in annual revenue
- Four doctors across three locations
- 2-4 private exam lanes per location with private personal offices
- High staff delegation, including refracting and contact lens technicians
- Equipment includes Optos Californias, Heidelberg Spectralis OCT, Octopus VF and HVF3, Oculus Keratographers, Nidek AFC-330 Stereo cameras, ERG, Keeler handheld slit lamps
- Exam lanes feature: Reliance Fx90 Chairs and 7900IC Stands, Reichert Phoropters, ClearChart 4 digital acuity charts, Topcon SL-D4 slit lamps, Heine handhelds, and Heinie Omega 600 BIOs
- 20 patients per day (14-16 full exams and 4-6 short/medical visits)
- Only accept high reimbursement insurance plans (no MA), with 20% cash-paying patients
- In-house ophthalmologist available to patients

· Close working relationship with Ophthalmologist in Faribault (Richie Eye Clinic) and Mankato (Ophthalmology Associates). Both independently owned.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
