'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... communication skills?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... ability to extract, explore, profile data?PASSION FOR RESULTS... drive to understand a business requirement, then recommend the best visualization representation solution?We are looking for:- a related bachelor's degree- experience in reporting tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.), and reporting architecture and report developmentWhat is the work?Design & Development:- Designs / develops complex reports and dashboards for business requirements; recommends the best visualization representation for a solution; collaborates with Data Engineers to prepare data that support reporting- Collaborates to understand project vision from the product owner; assists in coordinating efforts with a cross-functional team of Partners- Collaborates with product owner and business analyst to understand reporting needs; applies understanding of the reporting tool; provides guidance on feasibility to product owner to set stakeholder expectations- Works with infrastructure team and administrators to explore / set up new capabilities (e.g., embedded analytics, mobile dashboards etc.); ensures seamless integration of / across platforms- Works with UI / UX teams to ensure consistency across all reports and dashboards- Applies understanding of data / business solutions represented in the dashboards- Designs / builds architecture and foundational layout of reporting structure for every subject area, connecting with traditional data warehouse and big data cloud platform- Ensures access, security, and performance solutions are considered and thought through internal / external audiences- Provides ongoing support for products built by the vertical scrum team and across verticals- Provides ongoing support for products developed for business facing data solution engineers- Provides ongoing reporting and subject area training for H-E-B BI usersWhat is your background?- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 2 years of experience in reporting tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, comparable), reporting architecture, and report development- Experience in Digital Technology or BI business analysis a plusDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Report Developer - BI?- Analytical and data visualization skills- Communication and collaboration skills- Ability to extract, explore, and profile data- Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholdersCan you...- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Work extended hours, as needed08-2020
