What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at H&H Auto Parts?
Responsible for overseeing the activities of the purchasing and inventory control department and manage the inventory of materials for the company. Developing SOP(Standard Operating Procedures).
Essential Functions
Inventory
- Inventory Cozad field cars as Inventory Tech
- FIR (final inventory review) of all sites. A and C class cars and Scrap cars. Scrap cars done very quickly as MVR made from sites.
Pricing
- Spend time cleaning up pricing in Inventory Buddy. This will be key once you move into buying, you have to understand pricing and QOH (quantity of inventory needs on hand).
- Monthly scheduled pricing modules. Automatic pricing, setting standard pricing for purchasing.
Upload of Jet inventory
- Mapping new skews into Jet for sales.
- Running of weekly sold-out reports for Jet to restock data weekly.
- Contact for sales when they see mapping or pricing issues.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, (Insert Time)
TravelTravel is expected 0% of the time for this position. AND/OR May be asked to travel to visit vendors or different company locations.

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous relevant experience preferred
