Position Overview:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the store, including staff management, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and compliance with health and safety standards. You will lead a team in providing fast, friendly service, while upholding the quality and tradition H&H Bagels is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Oversee all ordering for food, beverage, dry goods, and cleaning supplies.
- Oversee and contribute to the procurement of spreads, salads, and sandwich making.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Hire, train, schedule and manage staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Manage financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales data.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Represent H&H Bagels within the community, building relationships with customers and local businesses.
- Collaborate with upper management to align store objectives with overall company goals.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in restaurant management, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual environment.
- Experience using Toast POS
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.
