Job Overview
This position is a “working” manager position. The successful candidate with be running a stand-alone business division that has an element of all of the business functions, (Sales, Operations and Business Functions). It will be supported by and fall under oversite of our corporate office, but will have a tremendous amount of anatomy running a small business.
The primary responsibilities of the Western District Manager include but not limited to:
- Territory Sales Plan and Execution. Multi-state territory
- Heavy Travel to customer sites. 80%
- Directly supervise your team
- Job Quoting, Planning, Execution and Follow Up
- Sales and Gross Margin Performance
- Facility and Equipment Management
- The work involves mechanical maintenance, rework construct, retrofit and installation of Industrial Dryer, Kilns and Ball Mills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations of multiple locations to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Supervise and mentor store managers, providing guidance on best practices in sales, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Develop and execute business development initiatives aimed at increasing market share and driving revenue growth.
- Implement process improvement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among staff at all levels.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project management initiatives that support district objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role.
- 10 years of working experience in either the engineering consulting or construction trade.
- Direct field service experience, so they can organize and quote field service repair jobs.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, able to read people, strategic sales logic comprehension, mathematics comprehension, good writing and speaking abilities, problem solving experience and mechanical aptitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
