Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and promoting products through engaging demonstrations.
Duties
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing transactions and handling cash with care.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing customer needs and inquiries promptly.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging sales.
- Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate pricing and change calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and keeping track of product availability. As well assisting in maintaining the store clean. Mopping cleaning counters and other duties will be discussed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate transaction processing.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products to effectively sell them to customers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
