Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with OCBOA standards.
- Perform tax accounting duties, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks and ProSeries, for bookkeeping, tax prep and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate double entry bookkeeping and manage debits and credits effectively.
- Collaborate with clients to provide tax preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Over 2 years experience in tax accounting and double entry bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of OCBOA and financial concepts
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks or trial balance software
- Familiarity with financial report preparation and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
