PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) COORDINATOR

The PDI Coordinator is responsible for inspecting new units for transport damage coming off of the transport delivery trucks. Ensuring Customers receive a Best-in-Class delivery experience. This entry-level role is located at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC)! Pay $17.50/ hour.

Job Overview – How You’ll Contribute:

• Checking in and inspecting new units for any transport damage coming off of the transport delivery trucks and documenting any damage.
• Working with transport drivers to coordinate where to park in our lot and ensure the PDI team knows which units are next to be processed. 
• Assist PDI Team with PDI in pulling plastic, adding Nitro to tires, and overall lending a hand to complete PDI. 

• Assist with preparing Repair Order (RO) folders paired to the correct units and ensuring we have all BOLs from transport drivers.  

• Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications – What You Need to be Successful:

• The ability to read and comprehend information and perform calculations.
• An eye for detail.
• The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
• The ability to prioritize tasks and utilize time management.
• Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
•  Lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
• Safely operate motor vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools properly and safely.
• Ability to walk briskly up to 500 yards frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to move about the dealership to effectively communicate with members of other departments.
