This will be a remote position, with occasional travel to the team’s office in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role will support the team in creating and managing end-to-end generative AI solutions. The team supports AI and digital modernization for both internal use and for external clients, with applications from intelligence analysis to manufacturing optimization.Key Responsibilities : Operational AI Implementation : Research, develop, and apply machine learning and deep learning algorithms to be deployed in an operational setting.Full Stack Design and Development : Rapidly design and create prototype applications to demonstrate AI capabilities. Transition prototypes to production by designing and implementing well-architected, scalable software stacks.Client Engagement : Support meetings with internal clients and external customers as a subject matter expert in AI and advanced software solutions, with a focus on cloud technologies and generative AI.Support multiple projects for different clients in parallel.Collaborate across a wide array of individuals at varying levels of technical skills.Effectively communicate complex strategies and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leaders.What you need to have : 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master’s; 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.Experience with all of the following : Programming languages : Python, C Containerized development and deployment : Docker, Rancher, and / or K8s.Cloud engineering : Azure, AWS, or GCP.Databases : SQL, noSQL, and / or vector databases.CI / CD pipeline management.DevSecOps design / deployment principles.Ability to travel to customer location(s) occasionally with advance notice.Clearance : Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technologies / experience.Experience with : UI / UX development : JavaScript (Angular, React)Backend development : REST API, web apps, microservicesExperience creating or supporting development of generative AI products or platforms, particularly multimodal use-cases.
