Job Summary :

We highly prefer candidates with prior experience in the manufacturing industry. This role starts on the 1st shift (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM) for approximately 30 days, then transitions to the 2nd shift (1 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM) . You will receive panel saw training as part of your onboarding.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate various fabrication equipment in accordance with instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
• Secure workpieces using clamps, wrenches, or other appropriate devices in the proper machine table or surface.
• Load, operate, and manufacture parts using CNC machining centers to produce custom parts based on customer orders, work orders, and blueprints.
• Recognize tooling and procedures to ensure products are within established tolerances.
• Complete work order documentation accurately.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to customer specifications.
• Perform packaging and counting tasks as required.
• Participate in cross-training to develop proficiency across different equipment and processes in the department.
• Perform daily machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and positive behavior modeling according to The Gund Company’s culture of care.
• Ensure tools are in safe, undamaged condition and follow all safety protocols and quality standards.
