Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Your Impact

As our Maintenance Coordinator, you'll be pivotal in ensuring our production goals are met with the highest quality and efficiency. You'll lead a team of maintenance technicians, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment performance through:

• Leadership & Development: Providing clear direction, training, and coaching to your team. Implementing Continuous Improvement Discussions to drive performance and achieve departmental targets.
• Operational Excellence: Coordinating maintenance/repair projects, managing budgets, and ensuring timely reporting of KPIs. Driving machine efficiency through problem-solving and innovative improvement ideas.
• Process Improvement: Implementing and monitoring countermeasures to reduce downtime and rejects, utilizing the PDCA process. Leading and participating in Continuous Improvement Activities.
• Strategic Management: Preparing and presenting reports to management, participating in PDCA meetings, and contributing to recruitment efforts.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems (AC/DC/Servo motors).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to short-notice overtime.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!):

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with maintenance management software, PLC programming, and robotics/automation.
• Familiarity with machine vision, sensing systems, and Microsoft Access databases.

Work Environment

This role requires a blend of office and manufacturing floor presence (approximately 3/5 hours respectively), with occasional travel and overtime to meet operational demands. You will be working around moving mechanical parts, chemicals, heat, moving equipment, electrical and pneumatics.
