We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager / Optician to oversee day-to-day store operations and provide exceptional customer service. This role involves managing a variety of responsibilities including financial oversight, sales goals, team leadership, inventory management, and ensuring the store meets the company's high standards for customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate store operations, including accounting, sales, inventory control, and employee management, in line with company policies and objectives.
- Provide support to the District Manager, ensuring the store aligns with company standards and delivers outstanding customer service.
- Manage and monitor daily store operations to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism within the team.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints related to products, services, or sales, addressing them promptly and courteously.
- Ensure efficiency and accuracy in the creation of eyewear products.
- Foster a positive, friendly, and supportive work environment that encourages team collaboration and excellence.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Assistant Store Manager and team to improve store operations, customer service, and achieve sales targets.
- Offer training and development opportunities for team members, while setting an example with a strong work ethic and leadership.
- Adjust, fit, and assemble eyewear products to meet customers' individual needs and preferences.
- Promote high standards of customer service and lead by example to exceed customer expectations.
- Manage and coordinate eye exams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); some postsecondary education preferred.
- Associate degree in opticianry or similar field preferred.
- ABO (American Board of Opticianry) Certification required.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail store management.
- Experience in Optical experience in a retail store or optometrist's office.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required to meet store needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on relationship-building and team collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $69,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
