Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to Signature Service Standards, ensuring a positive experience for every client.
• Execute timely and efficient deliveries in accordance with HIS Paints driving agreement, prioritizing safety and compliance.
• Prepare and stage orders to align with daily delivery schedules, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Process payment transactions accurately, verifying cash and charges in accordance with company protocols.
• Skillfully tint paint and match colors to meet customer specifications, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
• Flexibly adhere to retail store schedules, including early shifts, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational demands.
• Assist customers at the point of sale in selecting paint colors and sundry products, providing expert advice and recommendations.
• Verify all orders for accuracy in color, products, and quantities prior to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary liaison for industrial customers, efficiently addressing inquiries through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Provide comprehensive product information, technical support, and expert guidance on the selection and application of coatings to meet customer needs.
• Accurately and efficiently process orders to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment, maintaining a seamless order management experience.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and other departments to effectively meet customer requirements and deadlines, ensuring smooth operations.
• Promptly resolve customer complaints and concerns, striving for satisfactory resolution that enhance customer loyalty.
• Keep abreast of product offerings, pricing, and promotions to provide customers with the most current information and options.
• Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, driving revenue growth.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system to support effective communication and follow-up.
• Participate in product training sessions to continually enhance your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Distribute promotional materials and sales flyers during deliveries, proactively inquiring about additional product needs.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of delivery vehicles to ensure they remain in optimal condition.
• Help manage paint and sundry inventory, contributing to efficient stock levels and organization.
• Maintain the stores appearance and displays by upholding company merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with Store Management to support the achievement of operational goals and enhance overall performance.
• Complete all required training promptly to stay informed on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Follow all HIS Paint Company policies and procedures diligently to ensure consistency and safety.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms, as needed to maintain a clean environment.
• Accurately distinguish colors and assist in the color matching process to meet customer needs.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including tinting and shaking machines, safety and efficiently.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 70 lbs, including 5-gallon paint containers, ensuring proper techniques are used.
• Operate a fully loaded hand truck with weights up to1,220 lbs, demonstrating physical capability and safety awareness.
• Stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day, while performing delivery duties.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional customer service skills with a strong commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
• Possess a valid drivers license and maintain a safe driving record, demonstrating proficiency in operating a range of vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks.
• Successfully complete the companys driver safety and defensive driving courses as mandated, showcasing a commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to work effectively under direct supervision, following both oral and written instructions with precision.
• Proficient in the English language, with strong reading comprehension and solid skills in written and oral communication, typically achieved through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Competent in basic mathematics, including number sense, measurement, geometry, and mathematical reasoning, as typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred knowledge of paint applications and sundry products, with an understanding of their uses and benefits.
