Job Title : Heavy Duty Truck Operator

Job Summary : We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy duty wrecker used for towing large automotive equipment including tractor trailers, compactors, heavy duty dump trucks, etc.

Responsibilities :

Tow and transport vehicles and equipment to designated locations

Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists

Vehicular Rigging and operate tow truck equipment

Complete necessary paperwork and documentation

Knowledge of component parts and operating principles

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Must be able to remove drive shaft or axle shaft to tow properly

Requirements :

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Experience operating heavy tow truck and transporting vehicles

Rollback experience

Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork

accurately

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

Physical Demands :

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

Ability to work in various weather conditions

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time

Education and Experience :

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required- preferred triples, doubles and

hazmat High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience as heavy tow truck operator

Medical card required Hours :

Monday - Friday, 12 hour shifts

Benefits :

Paid holidays after 6 months

Accrued vacation after 6 months

Salary : Salary will be commission based and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
