What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at H. J. Russell & Company?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by manager or supervisor.
Clears, cleans and resets tables and surrounding areas.
Removes dirty plates, utensils and trays from dining room.
Replenishes supply of clean plates, cups, and other utensils in dining rooms.
Stocks all cold or hot food items on dining room buffet.
Serves coffee and ice water refills to patrons.
Cleans and polishes equipment such as coffee urns, juice and milk dispenser, high chairs, booster seats and sneeze guards.
Assist at the front desk with guests’ check-ins/outs in the absence of a team member, during lunch or break times.
Conducts “area runs” to pick up plates and trays in Café or surrounding area.
Provide excellent customer service to arriving and departing guests/owners when asked for help, directions, or registering a complaint.
Must be able to demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees.
Complies with all safety and security policies in accordance with Castleberry Inn & Suites standards and actively encourage others to do same.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules instructions, and procedure manuals. Good written and oral communication skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, and multiplies.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral. Ability to deal with and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
