Warranty Administrator
Summary
The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of warranty from beginning to end. This includes but is not limited to verification, submission of claims and services provided to the customer. Responsibilities also include ordering, sourcing, and shipping parts with the best methods to accommodate our customers.
A successful warranty administrator must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask. They must be able to keep track of multiple warranty claims and deadlines and follow up with customers as needed. They must also have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and other stakeholders.
Finally, they must be detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors or discrepancies.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare warranty documentation according to H K guidelines.
· Processes warranty claims in accordance with H K guidelines.
· Troubleshoot faults directly with customers or service providers.
· Follow up with customer/service providers to ensure claims are being processed properly.
· Arranges for parts to be shipped to service providers or store locations.
· Monitor warranty trends, gather data and provide feedback for process improvement.
· Input warranty invoices for payment including the proper coding.
· Provide status updates of payments, claims, disputes and resolutions.
· Arrange the return of warranty items.
· Submit claims quickly and efficiently.
· Performs tasks as assigned.
Communication Skills
Warranty Administrator is to be proficient in both written and verbal communication, to establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other employees.
Customer Service
Warranty Administrator must have strong customer service skills to effectively interact with customers daily. Warranty administrator will also involve communicating with customers to update them on claims status and resolve related issues and queries.
Warranty Administrator – Requirements and Qualifications
· A high school diploma or equivalent.
· 2 years of experience working in a dealership, preferably with service or warranties.
· Relevant working experience in warranty administration, claims processing, or a related field.
· Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
