Your expertise in brand identity, visual storytelling, and commercial content will play a crucial role in ensuring our videos are not only visually striking but also strategically aligned with client objectives.We are seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for producing remarkable content, and possesses the ability to bring brand narratives to life in imaginative ways.This is a hybrid role, combining office-based work at our H / L office in Oakland and remote work opportunities.What You'll Do : Creative Leadership : Lead the visual direction for video content, guaranteeing consistency with brand identity, messaging, and tone.Video Concept Development : Work with the creative team to devise fresh, impactful ideas for video content tailored for social media and other platforms.Design Execution : Create engaging storyboards, mood boards, and visual treatments that steer the video production process.Trend Awareness : Stay current with trends in video content creation, social media, and commercial production to keep our work inventive and relevant.Collaboration : Partner closely with internal teams (production, account service, strategy) and external production assets (directors, videographers, editors) to ensure seamless execution of video concepts.Brand Alignment : Ensure all video content is in sync with client's brand identity, voice, and marketing goals, while pushing the envelope creatively.Quick Turnaround : Oversee the creation of organic, quick-turnaround videos that are engaging and impactful on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.Quality Control : Review drafts and provide constructive feedback to ensure the final product meets the highest creative and technical standards.Client Communication : Assist the account service team in client presentations, sharing creative concepts and effectively incorporating client feedback.About You : PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES : Experience : Two to three years as an Art Director or Visual Designer focused on video content, preferably in a creative agency or production setting.Portfolio : A strong portfolio demonstrating your video content creation expertise, particularly in social media campaigns, commercials, and digital media.Creativity : Exceptional visual sensibility, capable of developing innovative and attention-grabbing video concepts that align with brand strategies.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, notably Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro is advantageous. Familiarity with video production tools and techniques, along with an understanding of motion graphics, typography, and visual effects, is expected.Brand Understanding : A deep comprehension of brand development and how to craft content that resonates with a brand's identity and values authentically.BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES : Collaboration Skills : A natural team player who excels in collaborating with diverse creatives, production teams, and clients. The salary for this position is anticipated to be between $80,000 and $95,000 annually. Actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including job scope, responsibilities, qualifications, budget availability, internal pay equity, geographic location, and external market pay rates.
