Summary
Position Highlights:
The HR Compliance Analyst is responsible for producing, tracking and monitoring Human Resources (HR) compliance processes and activities. The position works with internal and external stakeholders to assess, develop and implement process changes for HR related items. The HR Compliance Analyst monitors and elevates awareness of changes in local, state, and federal government regulations and accrediting agencies that may affect Human Resources. The position represents HR in Internal and External audits, providing requested data and ensuring action plans are followed and implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Known compliance: Responsible for producing, tracking and monitoring Human Resources (HR) internal compliance processes and activities related to state and local government agencies, which includes, but is not limited to, DOL, OSHA & The Joint Commission as it relates to HR, Affirmative Action, EEO, I-9, License and Certification requirements, as well as any new organization directives, Executive Orders or regulations released by applicable federal or local agencies.
- Remediation compliance: Works with any internal or external stakeholders to assess, develop, and implement any process changes or remediation plans for identified HR related issues, including, but not limited to, workforce licensing requirements, FCRA notifications, E-Verify TNCs, and Sanction Screenings
- Risk Avoidance: Monitors and elevates awareness of internal and external HR compliance trends, including Immigration regulations, and provides guidance as appropriate to reduce risks while ensuring regulatory compliance; recommends new and/or modified policies, procedures, or programs to align with changing requirements and business needs.
- Audit: Researches and responds to HR Compliance inquiries, audits, and concerns.
- Other HR Compliance or HR Program Support related duties or projects as assigned.
Credentials and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- A minimum of three (3) year experience with auditing or compliance in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Must have specific experience or understanding of employment laws, regulations and requirements, such as Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Employment Eligibility (I-9), Department of Labor (DOL), The Joint Commission (TJC), Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), etc.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- PHR or SHRM-CP
