Summary
Position Highlights:
- A Research Associate II position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Czerniecki . We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, detail oriented and team-oriented individual interested in translational immunotherapy for the treatment of solid tumors.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrate proficiency in general laboratory techniques.
- Demonstrates familiarity with basic immunology techniques including flow cytometry and ELISA.
- Is experienced in culturing mammalian cell lines and/or primary mammalian cells.
- Applicants with a minimum of two years’ experience working in a research lab are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- The Research Associate II will be responsible for processing samples from human blood, tissue, and apheresis products.
- The Research Associate II will be responsible for processing bone marrow aspirates from patients and isolating disseminated cancer cells.
- The Research Associate II will also be required to maintain detailed records and process and analyze data.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science related field required with 1 year of hands-on research experience is required.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- This position requires a flexible work schedule.
