What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofer/Laborer position at H&M Landscaping?

For many laborers involved in Roofing, Concrete, Asphalt and other seasonal businesses, this would be a good filler for the off season-
H&M is looking for Snow & Ice Management Laborers this winter season. Work close to your home in the Northeast Ohio area including Lake, Cuyahoga, Summit, Portage and Geauga Counties.
We need laborers for:
WALK CLEARING
LOADER OPERATORS
PLOW TRUCK DRIVERS
EQUIPMENT PROVIDED & SUBS WITH OWN EQUIPMENT ARE ENCOURAGED
What you’ll do:
- Sidewalk Clearing by hand or with equipment
- Operating snowplows and tractors equipped with plows.
- Clearing snow from roads, parking lots, and other areas.
- Spreading salt and sand for ice control.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure it’s in good working condition.
Who we’re looking for:
- Willing to be on-call 24/7 when snow falls.
- Knowledgeable of basic snow removal practices.
- Familiarity with snow removal equipment.
Pay rates:
Walkway team $25-$30 hr
Machine operator Bob Cat & Loader $25-$40 hr
Plow Truck/Salt truck $25-$35 hr
Sub contractors (must have own equipment):
Plow truck with equipment $55-$70 hr
Bobcat with equipment $65-$80 hr
Large Loader $90-$150 hr
Walkway with UTV $30-$45 hr
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $150.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- No nights
- No weekends
- Overnight shift
- Overtime
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
- Year round work
