In this hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to professional for installing, maintaining, and repairing various restaurant equipment for our fantastic clients. From troubleshooting to calibrating to repairing to installing you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service experiences to our customers. We are Wagner Foodservice, a one of a kind food distribution company location in Glen Burnie, MD with a secondary location in Salisbury, MD. For over 50 years we have been providing various food products and services to a number establishments in MD, DE, VA, PA, and NJ. We deliver food and equipment to restaurants, bars, gas stations, etc. and we provide service by installing, maintaining, and repairing dishware and beverage equipment. JOB DUTIES:
- Installs equipment in customer’s business location and tests equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, or other system malfunctions and performs necessary repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Responds to service calls under the direction of the Service Technician Manager
- Provides courteous and helpful assistance to clients during service visits.
- Maintains accurate records of service activities, including work orders, repair logs, and parts inventory.
- Completes service reports detailing work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations.
- Educates customers on how to use equipment.
- Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintains and upkeeps vehicle in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborates with other technicians and service team members to share knowledge and expertise.
- Assists colleagues with complex repair tasks or troubleshooting as needed.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and make decisions while on the job site.
- Able to prioritize and complete jobs in a timely manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and solution implementation abilities.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with our customers, and other departments within the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of experience in a beverage/service technician role.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willing to work until all jobs are complete. Flexible work hours may be necessary to accommodate service demands and emergencies.
- Lift and/or move up to 100 LBS.
- Work in all weather conditions (under reasonable circumstances).
- Willing to drive to multiple job sites in one day in a company vehicle.
- Must work holidays as per business needs.
- Available for the on/call rotation schedule.
