H Mart is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to assist in designing and managing projects from concept to completion. This role involves drafting conceptual and detailed CAD drawings, ensuring project documents comply with regulations and construction standards, and collaborating with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and organizational skills to support project planning, documentation, and communication.
Responsibilities but not limited to :
Assist in designing and managing projects from concept to completion
Draft conceptual / schematic CAD drawings and detail drawings
Analyze and monitor all project documents, including contracts, permits, and technical drawings
Ensure compliance of project documents with relevant codes and regulations and construction
standards
Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive project plan and schedule
Assist in facilitating communication among various teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Compile and produce design packages, including refrigeration and equipment, with attention to detail
Collaborate closely with the in-house interior design team and outsourced architect / engineer teamsAssist in developing prototypes with standardized layouts and construction systems / details
Maintain records of all project activities, including engineering reports, contracts, correspondence, meeting minutes, and payment reports
Qualifications / Skills :
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
2-5 years of full-time experience in AEC industries
Eligibility for legal employment in the US
Expertise in the use of AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools, e.g. Procore
Ability to manage a project schedule and documents from design through construction
Fluent in English, both in verbal and written form
Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
